There is only one Socialism! Do not split it...

Socialism is usually defined into many kinds of ideology unnecessarily by many socialist leaders themselves as well as opponent of socialism.

Such has indeed confuse many socialists, potential socialists and those who are interested in deepen their understanding on socialism. Why do we need to interpret socialism into so many kinds of ideological segment, such as Leninism, Marxism, Maoism, Trotskyism, Centre-Left, Social Democrats, Socialist Democratic, First International, Third International, Fourth International or whatsoever?

Some even claim they are more socialist then others and vice-versa. Some claim to be reformed socialist and this confuse our socialist community even more. As the result of all these differences, we could see first the Socialist, Labour and Communist Parties around the world disintegrating one by one like a domino, some of these parties are even split into two or three political parties but their names still remain as socialist or communist, with only different definitions at end of the parties' name, like Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist), Communist Party of India, Socialist Party of USA, Socialist Party of America, the American Socialist, the Democratic Socialists of America, Socialist Labour Party, Democratic Labour Party, German Party of Democratic Socialism, German Social Democratic Party. These are some of the few examples we are highlighting here.

That's why until today, Socialism is unable to reemerge as one because many leaders are followers of different kinds of views like the Leninism, Marxism, Maoism, Trotskyism, Centre-Left, Social Democrats, Socialist Democratic, First International, Third International, Fourth International or whatsoever.

Socialist leaders of today must understand that these are merely views or thoughts of many previous socialist leaders that does not serve or include as the ideology of socialism. They must remember that there is only one Socialism today and these socialist leaders should therefore go back to basic if they want the entire movement to reemerge one day.

Socialism is a social and economic system that are defined by social ownership of means of production and the cooperative way of management of the economy. In other words, the socialist concept always emphasize on collective benefits rather than individual benefits, so to what some kind of class benefits that we today call them as capitalist.

Whereas in political socialism, it speaks on total equality of mankind regardless of their race, religion, cultural background or skin colour. It also emphasize on total participation of the people in running of a nation, giving sound and collective decisions on how a nation of their should be administered. Socialism is democracy from down-under where everyone has their rights to vote to shape the nation's future.

The above does not reflect the entire segment of the basic socialism but a mere reminder to all socialist leaders on what socialism really means. Socialism came from the word social, and if you look at the definition of social, it has so many definitions that are related to mankind and the community of people, human rights, human establishments, some scientific elements that requires one to develop skills in order to perform it, then enhance that element for the benefit of all mankind.

In short, we must always be reminded that socialism is all about mankind, all about the social being that exist in this world and on how we strife together, collectively for the benefit of the entire community.

Please do not split socialism, instead emerge as one, equal and united entity.
